SNOW REMOVAL
2008
The Town of Paris would like to remind anyone who is shoveling or plowing snow that it is unlawful to shovel or plow snow onto the town’s public ways, Pursuant to MRSA, Title 29-A, Section 2396, (4) Snow. A person may not place and allow to remain on a public way snow or slush that has not accumulated there naturally.
To allow for winter snow removal, it will be unlawful to leave an unattended vehicle on the streets of Paris between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. between November 15, 2008 and April 15, 2009. Vehicles shall be towed at the owner’s expense. The Town of Paris shall not be responsible for any damages to vehicles.
Vehicles will also be towed at owner’s expense, if left unattended during this same period, in the town’s parking lot within the area of the Town Office, Police Station, and Public Library.
