The Town of Paris would like to alert the public that signage is not allowed in the town's landscaped traffic islands, including but not limited to the traffic islands located at Routes 26, 117 and 119 in Market Square and the traffic island located at the intersection of Route 26 and Paris Hill Road.

Signage is not allowed in any of the town's public parks, including Moore Park. Please also note that signage is not allowed at the mouth of Moore Park near the intersection of Route 26 and High Street. Any signage (or other similar item) that is placed in these specified locations or any other similar town-owned and maintained locations will be immediately removed.

Placing signage in these locations not ony causes unnecessary litter to accumulate, but poses a safety risk as drivers who pass through the area attempt to read the signs while driving. Please call the Director of Parks & Recreation at 743-2501 with any questions.
